Weekly Planning in my Erin Condren Life Planner Feb 23 - March 1

I film and upload a video of me decorating my ECLP every Sunday. I upload it to my 'other' channel made specifically for crafting and planners!! Connie's Craftin & Plannin. Just click on the link to check the channel out if those things interest you!

I got my ECLP in July of 2014 and it's the 18 month version so it goes through December of this year. It's a bit pricey at the starting out price of $50 and can be much more expensive with all the extra's available for it. I've fallen in love with planning and really love this planner. Will I purchase this planner again? I truly haven't decided yet, I may try something new next year if it has what I want and need in it. The ECLP has so many good features such at the removable covers, many designs to choose from and they are customizable. It has monthly and weekly views which I really like. It has a day, noon and night section that is ok, not my favorite, I usually cover up those words with washi tape. It is a coiled binder and that is fine but I'd really rather be able to snap it closed and be able to pull stuff out and put stuff in easier. But with that all said, I still love the planner! So  lets get on to the planning!

I normally write down all of my homework assignments on Wednesday or Thursday of the preceding week in the top section. Then I color code them according to the colors I use for each class. Then I write down any appointments or meetings or other items that I have in the middle section. Sometimes I highlight those too. But if you notice on the picture below I made a few mistakes on the middle section and covered it with washi. The bottom section is for my work schedules. Then I used a few different stamps and ink to label a few items.

Next step is putting down the washi tape. This week's them is purple!

And lastly, I use stickers to decorate it. Don't criticize it's me being creative and it makes writing in my planner so much more enjoyable for me!!

Thanks so much for joining me here today...See you next week!!

Dollar Tree and Kmart Haul + Lip Monthly Subscription & Jeffree Star Lipstick!!

I recorded and uploaded a new video this afternoon. Please take a look if you are interested..I always love it when you give me a thumbs up if you like the videos!!

I got my Jeffree Star lipstick yesterday and I wasn't sure if I liked it or not. When I tried it on, it was all over the place, That's why I'm not crazy about liquid lipsticks. But I decided to try it again today and took more care and wiped the applicator off better before putting the lipstick on. .MUCH better!! Plus you really have to be quick because it dries really fast!
I got the color Unicorn Blood...It's so pretty but very, very dark. Here is the picture from the website which is jeffreestarcosmetics.com/collections/velour-liquid-lipstick
It was 18.00 + tax and ended up being $24 plus some change.

I got up super early this morning and decided to run across the street and get a roll and coffee. I've live across the street from Dunkin Donuts for 8 months and this is the first time I've gone over there! Aren't you all proud of me! And I LOVE rolls and donuts!! Nothing tastes and smells so good as a fresh hot roll just out of the oven!! Sorry I forgot to take pictures..

I wanted to go to the Dollar Tree to see if they had any Easter or St Patrick's Day washi tape but no such luck. I swear my Dollar Tree is years behind the bigger ones!! I did find some pretty good stuff though!!

I found a couple of makeup items that I never see at my Dollar Tree so I picked them up,
The first one is a LA Colors dual lipstick and lip gloss in Flushed. Very pretty!! I also picked up a Maybelline liquid eye shadow in Eternal Espresso. I'll have to work with it to see if I like it or not.
Excuse the swatch pictures, I couldn't get my camera to focus today!!

I found quite a few of the Dollar Tree Duct tapes but I liked these 2 patterns the best.

I NEVER have enough hangers!! Plus when you get to wear 2X like I do they make the necklines huge in tops!! Then they are forever falling off the hangers unless they have those annoying plastic string things to hold them up. So these are no slip hangers. I got 3 sets, one each in red, blue an purple.

I've seen lots of Dollar Tree hauls where the ladies have raved about these shampoo and conditioners so when I saw them I thought I'd better get a set of each. I've never seen them at my Dollar Tree before. They come in Teatree Mint, Argan Oil & Cocoa Butter, and Keratin Oil. Those of you that have gotten these, please tell me what you thought of them.

I found some really cute new stickers that I'd never seen before, so I had to get them to decorate my Erin Condren Planner with!!

I love Wildflowers and have the whole side of my apartment that I can plant flowers in, so I thought I'd give this a try. And I also picked up a pretty blue flower pot and put some beads in it for my makeup brushes.

That is the extent of my Dollar Tree haul for today! Please comment below and let me know what you think!

Then I went to Kmart to see if they had any of their winter coats on sale. I ended up getting a coat, plus I found more clearance makeup!!
The coat is a black parka style with the fur collar. It has a fabric liner that zips and the outer coat also zips plus buttons. Plus it's long enough that it goes past my butt which I love!! It has nice deep pockets that I like!! The coat was originally $136, was on clearance for $69.66 and on sale again for 60% off, so I only paid $27 something for it!!

I got a new job working in the liquor department of one of our grocery stores and have to wear white shirts with collars. Sooo I hope I'll be able to wear the polo shirt because it's got pink on the collar..lol This are Kmart's brand which is Basic Editions. The Polo was 25% off so I only paid $11 and some change for it. The button up shirt wasn't on sale but it was only $14.98

I love Jaclyn Smith's skirts!! This is a black pencil skirt with an elastic waist. It was originally $25 but it was 25% off so I ended up paying $18 for it.

Ok now on to the clearance makeup!!

The one on the left is a Jordana Twist & Shine Moisturizing Balm Stain in 06 Cranberry Crush.  It was $2.49. I'm not sure if this was on sale or not.
The one on the right is Wet n Wild Megaslicks Balm Stain in 126 Rico Mauve. It was originally $2.99 and was on clearance for $1.49
Sorry I didn't swatch any of these for this Blog but my camera just wouldn't focus today!!

These are both Rimmel Lasting Finish Colour Rush Balm. The one on the left is 200 Keep Mauving and the other one is 300 Viva Violet. They were $2.64.

The last 3 lipsticks are NYC City Proof Twistable Intense Lip Color. They are 040 South Ferry Berry, 020 Riverside Rose & 041 Ballroom Blush. These were each $2.99

The top 2 blushes below are Loreal True Match Blushes. The 1st one is in shade C 5-6 and the 2nd is C 1-2. They are pretty similar in color. The 5-6 is just a shade darker. They were on clearance for $8.00 each.
The bottom blush is a Milani Baked Powder Blush in 11 Bella Rosa. It was on clearance for $3.49

That's my Kmart haul for the day!!

I stopped at the Post Office on my way home and my Lip Monthly bag was there! I got this subscription bag for a couple of months last spring and I wasn't very impressed with it so I cancelled it. But I thought I'd give it another chance.
Everything Lips! Every Month!
For only $10/month, LipMonthly helps you discover the best lip products on the market. Every month we’ll send you a unique box straight to your door and help you discover the best of Lip Glosses, Lip Sticks, Lip Balms, Lip Stains and much more. (Not necessarily true, I got eye shadow this month)
This is my referral link. If you decide to try it out just click on this link!!

It came in a plain white envelope. Everything was in the cute blue makeup bag. (Copying Ipsy??)
By the way, the makeup bag smells horrible!! I won't be keeping it even though it's really cute!

The 1st thing I pulled out is this Be A Bombshell lip gloss in Hooked. Very pretty, the shade is right up my alley but just putting it on my hand, I thought it really felt sticky. I will try it out on my lips this week and we'll see. The card said that this sells for $13 so this already paid for my subscription!

I was really excited to see the next item! It's from a brand I had never heard of but will be checking out in the future!! Its from So Susan and it's Lip Dome Plumping Lip Tint. It's in the color Black Currant. Soooo pretty. I'm very happy with this! The card says it's sells for $10

The next thing is a little 4 pack of lipsticks. It's from another new brand to me. Jelly Pong Pong Supermodel Stain. The card says that the full size of this sells for $25.

The last thing for this month is a MMU Cargo eye shadow in a bright blue. The card says the full size sells for $16. It's just not my color so I'll be putting this in a future giveaway.

So the total of this $10 subscription bag was $64. Not bad! I'm most impressed with the So Susan lip crayon and will try out all the lipsticks but will pass on the eye shadow.

That is it for today's Blog post. I will try to do this at least once a week but I have a very busy life starting this week. I'll end up working at least 40 hours a week with both my jobs plus I'm a full time online college student. But I promise to do a small one at least every week.
I will also do my Erin Condren planner pictures here even though I do the videos on my other channel.  I just don't feel like having to do the upkeep on 2 Blogs..

Please leave a comment down below and tell me if you like the way I did this blog. I'd love your comments and constructive criticism as long as the comments aren't mean. lol
Thanks my friends!!
